Default How much dye do I need to restore seats?

I have a 2000 XKR with 120,000 miles on it (about time to restore the seats). Based off other forum posts I think I'm going to go with the Leatherique brand products. But I need to know one more thing before I start my project, hopefully some of you with experience can chime in...

How much dye will I need to redo both the front and rear seats, 32oz or 16oz?

I will post plenty of pictures when done!

I don't know how much dye you will need, but I can tell you how much you might be saving. I just paid $ 1,800 for leather front, and back seats, door panels and console. This guy is a real artist. I did experiment with some dye before I had the leather done. I could not find any dye that covered well and was durable. I did use dye on the stearing wheel leather. It came from England. It seams to be pretty good but it cost $40 for enough to dye the steering wheel four or five coats. It is way to expensive to use on seats.

Your best bet is to call Leatherque and talk to them. They have a lot of experience with different cars and can advise you on the amount you need. They will also give you some tips on doing it if you have never done it before.
