So still not tackled my green shower yet, I only have a drip so I purchased the pipes to find out its my Hydraulic Ram that leaks, the expensive bit so outrageous money to buy new, over £600.00, second hand in the UK is approx £250 plus and no real guarantee that wont leak later, so has anyone in the UK had one repaired by a hydraulic repair service, there are tons of hydraulic people around but a recommended one from someone who has done this is always better?
So has anyone out that actually had one rebuilt? I could not get it apart without damaging it, to fit the seals so I figure best send it off somewhere to rebuild, its a simple enough job once you can unscrew the end fitting and have the seals.

Many of us have had them rebuilt by Top Hydraulics located in Oregon, USA. But since many European manufacturers have similar systems which also leak, I think you will probably find a source much closer to you.

So I got my Hydraulic ram rebuilt and no more green showers. Cost £160 inc VAT from a Hydraulic a specialist, they laughed and said this is truly the smallest job they have every taken on, but all good and guaranteed for 1 year.

So if anyone is interested in the UK not spending £650 for a new ram from Jaguar or £350 on second hand part from a scrap dealer I can recommend these guys to rebuild yours with a years guarantee;-
