Default I need the part number for the coolant outlet pipe.

I have looked on the download parts list but it is too confusing for me to read. I'm looking for the coolant outlet pipe for a 1999 xk8 coupe. I have changed all the hoses and had it flushed and filled last year. So everything around the pipe is in good shape. I now have a hairline crack at the base where the flange meets the pipe. I have a beautiful orange trail down the face of the timing cover now. In looking over the entire compartment I also found that the coolant recovery tank has been spewing out of the sensor on the bottom of the tank. Do I need the whole tank or just the sensor. If I remember from previous posts removing the sensor alone usually cracks the tank. Espically at this age with the plastics on this car!

The Cat is down for now. Figures, it has been doing so well lately!

I am not sure what hose you are talking about. If it is the one at the housing you may want to consider looking at the housing http://www.gusglikas.com/AutoRepairTherHousing.htm As for the coolant tank several people have attempted to repair leaking tanks with no success http://www.gusglikas.com/AutoRepairCoolantTank.htm. I hope this helps!

Since the first post I found this out.

AJ85885 This is the plastic pipe that goes around the t-stat housing. It also has the temp sensor if that helps you identify what I'm looking for.
Motorcars LTD. $58.00.

AJ82217.KIT This is the aluminum replacement for the plastic factory unit. I figure as long as I'm in there I might as well do this one also.
Motorcars LTD. $66.00.

MJD4400AB This is the expansion tank with the sensor.
Motorcars LTD $ 223.30.

I first looked for these parts from coventry west but they do not have the expansion tank. I might give them a call in the am to check.

Thanks for the reply GUS.

And by the way, the door on the ignition lock is still working. WD-40 to the rescue yet again!
