ID’ing original expansion tank and cap

ID’ing original expansion tank and cap
I think my 2002 XKR has the original parts. The cap is marked MotorCraft in raised letters on the underneath side of it. That’s a Ford brand.
With Ford running the show in those days, is it possible that the cap is original to the car ?
I have very detailed service records. No mention of any replacement of the expansion tank or cap.
