I wonder if anyone can help. I need a new LH Door mirror glass only. The current one has 3 x Lugs with 3 x Cables attached but all the mirrors I can find such as Part No HNA3074AA only seem to have 2 x lugs
What are the 3 x lugs I have for and could I use the version with only 2 x Lugs

Possibly the difference is standard flat vs electrochromatic mirror glass .........

I've fortunately never had a broken one so haven't had to investigate mirror glass options.

Seems you are correct. On research last night, the 3 Lug version is the electrochromic mirror glass type. Unfortunately these are out of stock with all the suppliers I've looked at. I think I will try and install the standard version for now and wait for stock to become available as reversing and viewing what's behind me with a half brown cloudy mirror is not good

I see it's a staggering 194 UKP from JLR but I also couldn't find any of the usual aftermarket suppliers with stock.

Provided the edge is properly rounded and polished like the OE mirror, it could even be a permanent alternative.

Door mirror glass with 3 lugs for 3 cables are automatic dimmer mirror and heated the one with 2 lugs are only for heated mirrors I got the 3 lugs on mine a jaguar xjr x350 2005 4.2 from Robert rawle South Wales UK Britain
