Hey Guys,

Anyone know how to take the door mirror apart on an 03+ facelifted mirror. what I want to do is separate the part that mounts to the door from the oval mirror housing. Basically I had damaged a mirror, and realized the oval part is the same as the X-types, but the mounting base is different, and X-type replacement mirrors are a lot cheaper. My mounting base is perfectly intact, So I was thinking of making a frankenmirror. Anyone know how this comes apart?
