Default idle rpm too high

After re-installing throttle body (rebuilt), the rpm idle is too high (9,000). It usually runs around 6,000. How do you adjust this, on this car? Thanks!

Presume you mean, 900 and 600 RPM, not thousands. Anyhow, if you did not reset your ECM, do so by pulling the positive battery cable and touching it to the negative for a minute or so. It may help. On my 2004, my idle was a few hundred RPM high when I first installed my new TB, I did not reset mine, and after about 100 miles or so it settled to normal.

+1 on the hard reset. Also check basics - make sure the throttle cable is backed off correctly and not partially opening the throttle.
If neither of these put the idle speed back to where it should be you may need to adjust the TPS, but that's unlikely.

If you had yours rebuilt by ASI you should have an install sheet that explained to you how to set the idle. I should mention that any time you pull a plug or R&R a device you should have the battery disconnected and do a hard reset before restoring power.

Once you have done a hard reset start the car and the idle will go up but after a few moments it should settle down and stabilize. After the car is up to operating temperature and the idle is still high you will need to adjust the throttle position sensor. You can do this by loosening the 2 screws that hold it in place. You may need to remove the intake pipe to the throttle body to have better access but it will need to be reinstalled to make the adjustments properly. Start the car let it get to operating temperature and rotate the throttle position sensor until your RPM’s are at 650/700 and tighten the screws on the sensor. Remember that a little movement will cause the idle to go way high or low.
