Default Intake valley hoses

I'm in process of removing intake in order to replace valley hoses. I have TB and associated parts off but am looking for guidance on injector and manifold removal. Can it all come off together or what is best way to handle? TIA

Everything is covered in the workshop manual JTIS21 which you can download from a Sticky on the forum page. Also, there is a engine rebuild tutorial at jagrepair.com.

Yep

if you don't already have them, take a trip to Harbor Freight and pick up these tools.

Pretty sure your 99 is the same as the 98, in which case you don't need to separate the injectors.
You will, however, need something to disconnect the fuel lines:- either (1) in Fulton's list or, if you're a cheapskate like me, a short piece of 15mm plastic plumbing pipe cut lengthways.

If you're not replacing the thermostat tower, do take the opportunity to replace the two rearmost bolts with hex-head capscrews, or file a slot across the heads to ease removal when it does let go.

Item (3) in Fulton's list will help with the clips, but I'd add clean paper towels and some antiseptic cream to the list

HTH,
Mike
