Default Interesting article on the development of Jaguar’s V8 engine

I enjoyed reading this article by Ralph Hosier. He was involved in the development of Jaguar’s V8. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Thanks for posting that article. I have always appreciated the 4.2 in my wife's 2006 XK8 Victory Edition convertible. A very solid engine with a great compromise between power and fuel economy. It is still hard to believe that the 4.2 is quite capable of delivering over 30 mpg on highway cruises while easily doing 75 mph or more for long stretches of time. I have never driven the newer 5.0 but would like to do so if presented with the opportunity....

Fun to read but it seemed more like a PR campaign than a behind the scenes story.
