Default Intermittent Suspension Fault Warning

Hi - I'm new to this scene and would immediately like to thank all those who share their knowledge and experience so generously. Can anyone advise on this please? I have a 2004 XKR with 128,000 kms on the odo and generally running brilliantly - on weekly runs of 50 to 100 kms typically. However, I get an intermittent Suspension Fault warning; it never comes on or goes off whilst driving, just sometimes when I start up. On a multi-stage drive it may not come on to start with, but after I've parked for a while and start up again, there it shows. After another stop it may not re-appear. Sometimes it doesn't appear for weeks or even months, then it will re-appear in this intermittent fashion. Sometimes it always shows for a couple of weeks. I can't detect any change in the way the car drives whether the warning is showing or not. I can't see any logic to the sequence of showing/not showing. I don't easily have access to a Jaguar dealer/similar to get a fault code. Any ideas please? Many thanks!

You can check the connections on the stop of the adaptive shocks, ensure the connection is being made and not corroded. Easy on front bit of a challenge on the rear.

You could also clean the connector to the control module in the boot, it is located at the rear of the spare tire well on the right hand side.

But since you only see this on startup, you might question the battery. Weak batteries cause all kinds of strange behavior in these cars, even if you don't have any particular starting or running problems.
