Default J gate shifter assembly Question
my J Gate top piece is cracked. I know the whole thing has to replaced as the top piece isn't sold separately (and the green LED's are out). Is an XJ8 of the same year compatible?

I have the 5 speed

The ZF 5HP24 is the same gearbox and the selector lever illumination module is the same also.
As long as the XJ8 has the 5HP24 they are the same and will function.
