Default Jag. Specialties

I have to replace the engine in my 2002 XK8 Jag. due to spun cam bearings. Has any one had any experience with Jag. Specialties, they have a kit to install a LS1 Chevy in a Jag. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Just search "Jaguar Specialties" on the forum search function and you'll find some good information. They're also members on this forum and post occasionally.

I talked to them in detail about that conversion. It seemed pretty straight forward with no welding or changes needed to the car, that it the LS1 drive line (auto) was a direct fit with modified engine and trans mounts only I think. The cost was in their interface device with the LSx computer and Jag system. The LSx trans even lines right up with the jag shifter using the orig jag shifter.

Default Met with them

I actually met with him and he brought one of his XK8 mules. It is a very clean installation and you can a lot with an LS1.

Here is the link: http://www.jaguarspecialties.com/ Only issue is they can't do a 4.2 car, only 4.0.
