Having the Tops Online seat leather installed and I get the below pic from the installer.

I had discovered after purchase the car was in an accident but this indicated it may have been worse than expected. Anyone else ever see this?

Anyway, they said they can repair by spot welding a plate.

An accident severe enough to do that to a seat frame wouldn't have left much of a car to repair.

 

Yeah, I was thinking the same. There's no real evidence of frame damage, so no idea on this. Wonder if they replaced the seat.

In any case, it's already been repaired. They charged me an hour labor. So I'm happy.
