I may not be that smart as I have been confused on throttle body part numbers for XK8's in particular. I have had a Jaguar dealer tell me the actual OEM part #'s engraved on the parts are: C2A1470 or C2A1444; however, I do not see these #'s on the actual item itself when looking around on the internet. I see primarily what may be called casting #'s which seem more accurate to me.

My questions are:
1) Can anyone tell me what casting number or numbers related to C2A1444? Is it 98JV-9E926-AA (I know C2A1470 is for 98JV-9E926-BA). Could C2A1444 relate to 98JV-9E926-AA, if not is there a different #.

2) Does anyone know what the corresponding C2A...# is for the following casting #'s:
a) 98JV-9E926-AA
b) 96JV-9E926-AJ

Ok, all those casting numbers are for different iterations of one throttle body. All finally becoming C2A1470.
