Congratulations! We share the same color scheme and body style. Yours looks like a beautiful specimen. The best part for you is that the 2003 keeps a very classic look with most of the technological upgrades, kind of a series 2.5 if you want to call it that.

Check your front ride height especially if you are investing in some new rubber. The 18 wheels are a staggered setup; make sure that the set you purchase is correct in this respect. I had mine restored to factory recently and they will look great with your color scheme, kind of a silvery grey.

Welcome aboard!

Hey Bob, if I were you I'd start a new post on this question/issue. It's likely to get little exposure or attention on this string.

Thanks. I have tried to delete message. I hadn't driven car when I wrote it. I will start new thread when I have checked for codes myself.

You've made a sound purchase, there, so congratulations!

You asked about other things to do, so here are a few thoughts. It is generally thought wise to have the gearbox oil changed at around 50 to 70,000 miles, as a protective measure. I would also consider the Realgauge upgrade (if you are not aware, the temperature and pressure gauges don't actually give readings, but are switches that sit halfway on the dial until something goes wrong. The realgauge system turns these gauges into proper analogue units.). Another thing to consider is a pressure-limit switch unit for the hood hydraulics, to protect the pipes which are horribly expensive to get replaced if you spring a leak.

The opportunities to spend money are endless!!
