Just noticed rear seat opening
When having the boot open when connecting battery tender, I happened to notice and opening between the rear seat backs that connects the cabin of the car to the boot. What purpose does this have? Is there something that supposed to block it?
Yes the fuel tank blocks it . But being serious how big is it . If I want to run a wire I have to use a long plastic rod to get through.

My apologies to Pistnbroke for a wild goose chase. I just went out in the daylight and looked again. Apparently in the very dim light last night, it was an optical illusion. What I had seen was the indent that houses the rear seat belt buckles. Please excuse my error, I don't usually pay much attention to the back seat. At my age, I have not had much use for a back seat since the 1960's. Oh, those were the days! Just remember, "Old people are just bent kids".
