Just did it yesterday following battery change.
pull signal stem toward you, turn key to aux position, release stem and pull back toward you 4-5 times (take about 3 sec to do this). You will hear a single chirp meaning you have entered security program mode. Release signal stem, press button on FOB and hear a single chirp. Button is programmed. Short time later, you will hear a double chirp. That is the security system exiting program mode.
