Default Knee bolster - surface rust
While replacing the light bulbs in my 2005 XK8 when I removed the knee bolster there was surface rust on the metal backing parts. Anyone else see this condition?

You posted this in a three year old thread on Instrument Pack bulb replacement so I've moved it to a new thread and added a relevant title.

To answer your question. No - I haven't seen that.

But considering your location it isn't too much of a surprise. Warm and humid summers and salt aerosol from storms.
