Somebody out there must know!
One member of theforumposted to me that for Oatmeal (trim code AGD), the leather color on the steering wheel, according to an old brochure he has, is Antelope.
Sources that sell matching color dyes say that's not good enough: need a facia trim code. Contacted the dealer, he said facia code is AGE, which translates to Taupe, as far as the dye dealers go.
Well, that's not a match. It's not even close. The parts guy at the dealership must have been looking at the wrong year. So, I eyeballed the color against an OEM color sample sheet from Leatherique.com, and it looks to me like Doeskin. Bought that dye. It's much closer but not a perfect match.
Does anyone know for certain what the facia (steering wheel, dashboard) trim code is for a 2001 XK8 with MDZ paint and AGD trim?

I have bought "oatmeal" dye in aresol cans from World Upholstery in California for my wife's XJ8. I bought it to recondition her drivers seat - the color was an exact match. Her interrior (seats, dash) is oatmeal. I think I still have some left in a can at home. I can look and see if I still have some and post the info tomorrow when I arrive home.
Also, World Upholstery will send you free samples of the colors. I think they charge $18.95 a can? They have a website...

My interior is called "Cream". Just try to find a match for that. I had to go with a close match for the tonneau but it isn't so off you'd really notice unless you were a Jag expert.

There was an assembly tag for my interior still affixed on the driver's side 'c-pilar' which identified the colors.

I assume the note refer to the beige top and anoatmeal leather and/or carpet combo...??
