Was driving across a bridge when all of a sudden my oil pressure light came on and the car started losing power. As soon as I could I pulled over and looked under the car and oil was dripping out at a fast pace. Not sure what happened, the car still turns over fine, but has anyone had this happen to them?

Looks like the oil is coming out the back of the engine, hoping I did not lose my rear oil seal.

 

Well. it's been a few hours since you posted... I'm hoping you had a tow.

Oil filter first thing to come to mind.. Did it come loose? That'll do what you describe.

 

Oh yes, I got a tow and I am about to go underneath, but I do not think it is the oil filter as it is up front and the leak is in the rear.
