Default lowering springs

Does anyone know if it is possible to lower the ride height without changing springs ? Like some sort of clamp arrangement that would squeeze two of the coils together?

Sure it is possible but it probably wouldn't handle or ride too well. Springs are cheap!

My springs were less than $400 a set, shipped. Now, finding someone to install them was a pain in the ***...
