Default Lrg Engine Plugging found Under Throttle Body

Hello Folks.

Its been a while but I am gearing up to swap engines from a 2000 XK8 to my 2002 XK8 and just to help me sleep better at night (as I gear) I have a quick question.

There is a large-ish electrical plug/connector UNDER the throttle body. Honestly, I don't know what all is built into that connection point but my MAIN question has to do with how reliably I can assume that It will be a direct plug in plug out old to new.... I believe it has to do with engine function and ECU... Is that correct?

I don't know the name of the plug, how it would be termed which is leaving me in a spot on how to research this on my own. Can anyone help or set me on a path???

Any help, support or suggestions will be and are MUCH appreciated.
