Default Mina intake breather diameter

Hey guys,

Has anyone else receiced a Mina intake with a smaller-than-stock breather? Im pretty sure Im not losing my mind here - this thing is definitely smaller in diameter than what comes stock. Any breather issues if it is? What is strange - Ive seen other members with the correct size on the Mina Intake. Ive asked them but I never get a response. Thank you all!

I had one of these installed last year (see post #22 at the following thread:

The diameter of the tube seemed fine and the actual hookups are via pieces of silicon/rubber tubing.

What's your Outter Diameter? Hard to tell size by pics. Here is mine on a 4.2

I will have to take a look but I can tell you for sure the size of both of those are the same size as mine. My confusion stems from it not being the size of the 4.0 full load and i wonder if they just streamlined it for either engine. So my confusion kid of made me wonder if it would cause trouble on a 4.0

The 4.2s crank case breather is 15mm inner diameter. The Mina is a bit smaller but isn't that really an emissions thing? I can't imagine the few mm's makes a difference or is offset by the larger intake. Sorry this is not my specialty area.

I can say that the Mina has improved my cars mid range. Could be it covered a vacuum leak from the old intake or some such, but I am happy with the install. I do wish they offered 2 versions-- one for each engine so we didn't have to run the hose back to the MAF area in the 4.2
