Mine's Bigger Than Yours ... !!

I don't think so Jim Forrest......This is my latest project, a 67 Crown Imperial convertible, that I am restoring, because my daughter wanted to give it back to me. From back when I was driving around in my Spitfire, which I think we could have fit in this one's trunk. It is 5700 pounds, with a full 32 gallon tank of premium gas, and is wider and longer than anything currently listed as an automobile, on the road.(not pickup trucks, or bullet proof limos, even though it is in competition with a few) It is dragged around with a 440 4 barrel carb, cubic inch engine rated at 350 hp, even though it is closer to 380hp, and the tires look flat even when filled to 40psi. My daughter and 6 girl friends use to drive it to the tip of Lake Michigan, to tan, and find boys. Gas was only a dollar then, but the car only got 12 mpg on the highway, and around 8 in town. I have the rest of the pictures in my latest album, as well as the finally finished XK8(will it ever really be) and X Type. Take a looksie.......be cool.....Mike
