Unhappy More electical problems

XKR 4.2 2004 with CATS fitted but disconnected. Following the usual issues with a low battery Replaced battery and alternator. 2000 km trouble free. Alternator 14.0V when cold and settles to 13.3V when running. Battery holds 12.6V or better over night. Car starts and runs fine but once ignition is turned off will not start unless I do a hard reset on the battery. The only sign of life before the hard reset regardless of ignition on or off is that the red warning lights in both the battery and oil gauges glow a dull red. Otherwise the car is dead. Checked all the relays. I have an ICarsoft scanner and the only code coming up is U1041 which is CATs related. I see from other posts this could be a rogue code on the ICarsoft anyway.
Anyone had similar experiences>

If the ignition warning light glows with the ignition OFF its faulty alternator diodes ...the 13.3 is a bit low . go get new alternator under warrantee

Thanks for the comment. Normally would indicate a back flow from the battery via the alternator but after a hard reset the warning light does not glow. Also does not explain why the warning light on the oil pressure is also getting current from somewhere.
