Default motor wont start or turn over by hand

2001 XKR Conv. 98k, I've owned 5 months, had the trac control, abs lights intermittent then 2 weeks ago,

Problem - drove car, no problems, tried to start 30 mins later, engine would not turn over. Thought I had a low battery but it appears not.
Researched the forum, followed threads on non start condition,
Had difficulty with my laptop so didn't get codes, but starters are within my ability so thought I would just tackle it.

Charged battery re installed and did the hard reset.

tried to start in N, same result. shifted through all the gears, lights work as they should.

Current situation
Battery = new and fully charged 13.2V drops to 12.v when engaging starter then drops to 5 v because the starter isn't turning.
All fuses, relays checked, no problems. Even tried jumper cables to bypass ground loop and power loop. Direct ground and power to starter, bridged to solenoid to energize starter, same result, a sound as if it engaged but the motor didn't budge.
Amber check engine lights, trac control, abs warning lights are on at ignition.
Security system reads ok.
Removed both serpentine belts to eliminate accessories as source of problem,
Removed and tested starter at O'Reillys - tested ok
Removed cam covers and spark plugs, new gen. tensioners, no evident problems,

Tried to turn motor over by hand with socket on crank pulley, but it will not move in either direction.

QUESTION - should the motor be able to be turned over this way, either direction??

QUESTION Should I drop the pan to see whats going on down below?

I think the motor froze, but there were no unusual sounds. So, any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sad Dawg now

Yes, definitely.

I'd be more inclined to take the camshaft covers off in order to check the timing chains.

Good luck,

Seems that your engine has seized. With the belt off and plugs out, it should spin freely with the starter or turning crank the pulley. If the pulley can be turned a little, then suspect cams, if not at all then it is going to be at the bottom end or timing chains have jumped and caused all to lock up. Any oil in it?
