Default Is my differential making this noise?

A few days ago my car started making a brief low-volume clattering/clicking noise when making turns. Sorta like the noise a CV joint makes when it goes bad. I am assuming it's my differential. I must confess, though, the diff is one component I know absolutely nothing about, except it turns the rear wheels at different speeds in a turn. She just passed the 100,000 mark. Any thoughts as to what I'm in for?

check and see if your "wind deflector" under the front of the car and attached to the wheel well liner is lose or broken. If only on turns it could be the tire rubbing on the liner.
Good luck!

Default diff noise

I once had the same sound also only when cornering, turned out to be a small stone stuck in the wheel hub plate, may be worth a look.

Thanks, guys. I'll check 'em both. I'm pretty pessimistic, though. The sound reminds me of muscle cars that have diffs you can actually hear working.
