Need a rear screen replacement, Convertible XK8 2004. UK
Hi
I have had the misfortune to get a broken rear screen on my 2004 XK8 convertible. Not sure how it happened, act of god or vandalism? Anyway, I need to source someone to do a replacement of the screen in the UK, preferably the north west of England if possible. I am prepared to travel to get the right firm.
Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations?
My insurance firm were less than helpful, in that neither of their recommended glass replacement firms do convertibles, and they said I need to source my own repairers and then send them the bill!
So far the only firm I have found which seems suitable is Soft Top Convertible Specialist in Coventry.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yes I had seen this and other second hand bits around, but as the insurance is paying I don't need a cost conscious fix, what I am looking for a is a guaranteed "proper job". The silence on here tells me that either I am looking for a unicorn, or that firm that I have found is the one and only one? Will try a bit more digging.
