New guy here and I come with some problems. I'm using the iCarsoft V3.0 diagnostic tool. SCP Vehicle Speed Signal - Invalid or missing, SLM Security locking module 2 faults. Also sometimes I get the check engine light followed by an engine stall. Anyone have experience with any of this?

 

Have you tried deleting the codes and then seeing if they return? I don't think that any of those faults would cause a check engine light or an engine stall. If there are no other symptoms then I think those are minor or intermittent faults and can probably be ignored.

The vehicle speed signal fault usually means that one of the wheel speed sensors is failing but if you are getting no ABS, stability control or cruise control error messages then it's not a serious failure at this stage. The OBD scan will usually indicate which sensor is causing the problem but perhaps if the failure is still minor then it is not being specific at this stage.
