I just purchased a low mileage 2005 XKR in like new condition. (It fooled me)
Took it out for a drive today. Top down and nice weather. We entered the freeway and I "nailed it". WOW - I've never experienced acceleration like that. This is one sweet car. I look forward to many years of fun.

I have owned my 05 coupe for about a year and a half and I have had no major complaints. These cars are simply great to drive or...just look at. Acceleration is for sure not an issue and the ride quality in the coupe has been excellent. While the XKR already has a reasonably low db level at highway speed the cabin noise can be further reduced by applying materails like damplifyer pro to the trunk and rear fender wells. Combined with foam core insulation around the back seat I was able to bring the cabin sound level down another 5 db. I would stongly suggest that you change out the transmission fluid before you reach 50k miles.
