Default New Custom Embroidered Convertible Boot 2000 XKR

I haven't posted in a while. Man, I'm lovin' the AVos supercharger kit on this thing.

My brother had accidentally thrown away my factory convertible boot when he saw it in my garage. AAAAAH! I looked around and found everyone saying good things about Charles' work.

WOW! I ordered mine with custom embroidery. They cost around $269, just plain, and embroidered like mine is a tick under $400. The quality of this thing is FABULOUS. It hadn't fully relaxed in the photos. I took the pictures minutes after taking it out of the box. It was well packaged and it is obvious that the man really cares about his craft.

I completely recommend him as a source for a new boot.

Hey Jeff,

How's your transmission holding up these days?

Fantastic! I did have it refreshed with a drain plug installed and the fluid gets changed. I also had blue-top solenoids installed for a quicker shift. It's fab.

I REALLY PUSH THIS THING.

Good to hear from you Jeff !

Glad the mods are passing the longer term test. The embroidery is gorgeous! I have one of Charles' 'plain' boots and it is excellent.

That was NOT what I was expecting when I opened this thread.

Convertible boot = hood cover - there's another one for my American dictionary.

Looks a real quality item.

Can't wait to find out the name for a tonneau cover.

The logo looks great but I wonder about how it will hold up without some protection from the road soot and grime. My boot/hood/top/roof cover regularly collects a black film and needs cleaning. The threads (especially the light color) might benefit from some some scotchguard or equivalent.

^^ Agreed. I would keep a coating of Scotchgard or perhaps even 303 on that embroidery....
