Jaguar Anthracite Pearl Metallic Black is what the body shop said the color is and its a rare color. I had them instal new hood struts,edge of hood latch bust my head open while examining my octopus hose, and did it silently.

 

SADLY , I got the valve covers off to discover my new kitty has plastic tensioners.A seeping water pump gasket, and needs the coolant bypass hose / 5 inch curved beast center, very front of engine. All parts are installed now except the tensioners(will be today or tom)

BUT... They are the SECOND GENERATION PLASTIC-Not the first, the second is stronger than the first. The tensioners etc are in great shape. HOWEVER,this does not pass my quality preferences, so I ordered the 3rd generation tensioners that ARE METAL.





I have got the valve covers cleaned,spark plug coils opened and cleaned, all bolts to it new gromets on em, all spark plug tube passages, new grommets, and the valve covers themselves installed.

The valve covers have been painted black, the new METAL tensioners and NEW REVISED BOLTS will be installed today or tomorrow.



But I need a diagram with the bolt torque sequence for the valve cover please !!!

later on, spring for the Covercraft FITTED 4ply cover. they do a great job, won't scratch your paint, breathe nicely and LOOK GOOD!!! Jagbits sells em...little pricey...bought my last one off ebay, I believe it was $239 with free shipping.
