Hi again Chris . . . been away for a break . . . but re-reading all the thread, I better understand the economics of your intentions. Don't abandon too readily your ideas of RHD > LHD . . . plenty of cases here of snapping up ex-US "cheapies", especially the sports cars, and converting them. Two other options you might consider -
  • either . . . import a LHD car from NA, ready to be registered in your Euro destination;
  • or . . . import a crashed or mechanically engine-less but otherwise fine body with full LHD interior, also from NA.
Coupled with cheaper (?reliable) labour you have accessed, the latter option could be more viable than buying in all the myriad parts such a conversion would require. Still not a project for the faint-hearted!
