I am a new owner of a black 2006 XK8 with the light tan/cashmere interior. It's only been one week, but so far I am loving the car. I do have a couple of questions on it which hopefully someone in this forum can answer sinceI can't find the answers in the forum when I do a search.

First, was there a change during the 2006 model year and, if so, how do I tell which model I have (i.e. is it manufacture date or a certain feature that distinguishes the two)? The reason I ask this was prompted by the next question. Has anyone installed a mesh grill and, if so, was it difficult to install yourself and do you recommend a vendor? It looks like "jaguarxp" and "adamesh" are the major vendors, but there is some overlap on the 2006 model year and I'm not sure which grille to order.
