Default No SIG (Bluetooth)

I suspect the bluetooth issue has been covered to the Nth degree, but I didn't see anything like this: I have a 2006 XK8 Victory Edition which came standard with Bluetooth. I checked in the console and there is the yellow connector complete with something plugged into it (sorry, not real technical). when I press the button to begin pairing, I get "Phone," then "No Phone," but that's where it ends. Never get the "SIG."

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I have the same VE model but admittedly have never messed around with pairing a phone. I don't know which connector you are referring to, but I believe the black box under the middle console is to the antenna. If I'm not mistaken the bluetooth box is mounted directly behind the rear seat back. It has been a few months since I had the parts out so I'm just going off of memory.

As a side note when I bought the car the PO supplied me with a packet which contained "compatible" phones. Which phone are you attempting to pair?

Thanks for your message. It's an iPhone 6. However, I would imagine that before I wold get to pairing issues, I should still get the SIG message?
