i know. I believe that SPIRES is a very good product. however the difference is that OHLINS uses a damper with 25 adjustments in extension and 25 adjustments in compression instead of a normal Bilstein without any adjustment.
This allows you to make custom settings that fit for road use but also to the sports track.
Furthermore the kit OHLINS is made of aluminum alloy and therefore the overall weight is significantly lower.
Finally, OHLINS shocks are rebuildable and therefore do not need to replace them if they lose effectiveness: just send them to one of the center of revision OHLINS around the world and have them put back new.

I may have a set, can I get a discount? What would be the cost of the final product?

Default I'm ready

Dose anyone on the forum have experience with the Spires-st hright adjustable coilovers on their Xk8/R? The shocks look like they are non-adjustable Blisteins. Is that correct?

The Ohlins have two adjustment dials. That's assuming the thumbnail is a fair representation of the final product.

I am in the market for height adjustable coilovers. When will the Ohlins be available?

Thanks.

Posting a third party email address on a public forum is generally a bad idea.

I understand you are eager to know the cost of this kit, but in the meantime i need to aquire technical information to make it possible. As i already spoken with some of you, this kit is achievable don't be afraid, just give me a little time to start developing and i'll come back to you with all the informations you desire

Oh man I cant wait for this. All this time I've been asking for at least coilovers for this car and they heard my prayers. Question though, to adjust camber, will we be able to use stock equipment? I lowered my xk8 with H&R springs and no matter where I take it to get a wheel alignment, no one can straighten out the camber in the rear

Hav you had anyone install larger rear camber spacers? I have always been able to bring the cars into spec with the proper size shim. If you have the rear camber reading & know what size shim fitted you can usually get real close on the first try.

+1 on the spacers or shims. JgaXkr is absolutely correct. I had Mina springs installed in 2006, by the dealer no less, as we had a good discussion about how to keep the alignment within spec and they had all the answers from the fulcrum bolts to the shims.

P.S can't wait to see these Ohlins units, it's almost time for new shocks/dampers so the timing is great for me.
