Cool Oil Burn Smell

Need some advice. I have a 2000 Jaguar Xk8, and just recently I've noticed a slight smell of burning oil. I only notice it when sitting still. I'm not aware of any "blue smoke" issue, no adverse engine noises, and oil changes have been ample since I've owned the car. Oil pressure's fine, the level on the dipstick is spot on, and there's no oil discoloration of any kind. Again, I only notice it when sitting still, such as at a stoplight. Could this just be a leak somewhere that's hitting a hot exhaust manifold (or exhaust pipe)? Suggestions? Thanks.

How many kilometres/miles on the vehicle?

Most likely the cam cover gaskets are leaking as they can cause oil to drip onto the exhaust manifolds. Renew the cam cover gaskets and spark plug boss seals together with new spark plugs, if that hasn't already been done.

I think I have some of the parts you might need. They were included in a lot of OE parts I bought a while back. For sure can save you some money if you are going to DIY.
