Default Okay, here's a new one...

After reviewing all the forum pages a couple of times in the last year, I have yet to see this warning which I encountered last night:

"Cruise Control is Unavailable"

What causes this warning to pop up? Will it go away with time, or by clearing or resetting codes?

Thanks guys.

There are a lot of threads on this. It is most commonly the brake light switch. It can also occur if there is a problem with the steering wheel cruise control buttons, possibly a stuck button or bad wiring, but really, this is likey the brake light switch.

+1 on the brake switch. This might help JagRepair.com - Brake Switch Replacement

If you go to the OBDII code chart for the Jaguar you will find A LOT of issues that first disable the cruise control. Do you have a CEL?
