Default One Good News - Simple but hey may help you too (Rear End Noise)

I've had a few days where I drove with the roof closed. Was getting annoyed at noise from under car, heard it at very low speeds with every bump. It was loud enough for me to check the exhaust, or worry I have a broken shock.

Well I decided to try something, a long shot. I put 2 sided tape under my rear license plate. It was secured by bolts on top. Technically the bottom could "flap" but it seemed pretty tight. . . what the heck I gave it a try.

Success! Believe it or not that little license plate can make quite a racket if it moves.

This one was such a simple, obvious fix that I almost ignored it, but hey maybe someone else has the same thing.

I was chasing a rattle in the back of my Audi Q7. Spent a couple of hours taking things apart and tightening bolts. Turned out the license plate bolts were loose. Don't you wish all XK8 problems were this easy to fix.

Don't forget to rotate the license plate bolts from front to back. They will last longer and give you better mileage.

And while you're at it, change the air in your tires....
