WHew! WHat a fun day! Abby and I went to the Jaguar Alive event in Atlanta. Saw a few other cars of our vintage in the lot when we were leaving. The new Jags were impressive (that "0-60-0" and the "autocross"!!!!!!) But ours are prettier.

There was one prettier, the E-Type in the tent. Wow! It was gorgeous.

Performance-wise, that 550 horsepower on tap is incredible. My little 370 did feel almost anemic after romping on it in that XKR-S. OH, my, my heart did more than pitter patter. Will post a link to the video when it comes.

Turned a 37.5 second run on the autocross. Messed up in a major corner, but ... One of the pros said his best time was 34 seconds and most people run in the 40s, so guess I should feel good about it. The section winning times I saw were 35s.

Would have been fun to get all our cars together. If you have a chance to do one of these events, DO IT.
