I've had this XK8 for two weeks. Had the tires replaced. The tire guy brought to my attention that my wheels had been painted. They look ok on the outside but the inside is trashed. Wondering if this is a factory thing or did my previous owner actually paint the wheels? They're the original Centaur style 8 and 9 inch wide 18 inch wheels. I'm just curious what they look like under the paint.

 

Mine look awful inside with the tires removed too, but don't all wheels with thousands of miles? Or are you saying the inside is trashed meaning un-usable for some reason? Anyhow, a couple of my wheels had curb rash from previous owners, I had them cosmetically repaired and painted, and no one can tell they were painted.
