Well when I noticed that my left rear parking light on my 2000 XK8 was out and I went to change the bulb, I found a completely corroded connector.


Both the bulb and the connector to the wiring harness was nothing but blue dust.


Is there a place where one can purchase replacement connectors?


Does anyone have an item or part number?


The only thing I can see is W40 000 630 on the bulb holder.


Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Do you mean the rear marker light? Here is one on eBay with a connector still attached and wire pigtails you can splice to. Jaguar XK8 Rear Bumper Side Marker Light Red Genuine | eBay

Unfortunately, Jaguar has a horrible policy of not selling individual connectors, only complete wiring harnesses.

It is the same connector as used in your fuel injectors made by AMP and other brands. Available in any parts store $8-14.
The plug that holds the bulb is a ford part # F8RZ13K371AA
