Default Parking sensors

Hi all.
Has anybody tried or used other makes of parking sensors on their Jags,
I have been having a look on the internet and the sensor from a very reputable dealer is priced at about £50 or approx $75 if you type in the part number which I believe is the one I need (c2c29376xxx) it is for sale for many other makes and models for only £12 or approx $18 dollars.
Just a thought, we do seem to be paying over the odds and it would be good to be able to save occasionaly

Do you mean using an alternative sensor to OE as a replacement on an existing system or fitting a system fro scratch to a vehicle without parking sensors?

On the last Jaguar I had which didn't have OE parking sensors, I fitted one of these:

Jaguar Parking Sensor | No Holes | Front & Rear Reverse Parking Sensors

Fitted inside the bumper and required no drilling.

Sorry. I can't offer an alternative. The parking sensors on my car are one of the few things that actually work well. Of course, the day ain't over yet...

Graham, I looked at the link, you say these work well? Very inexpensive option, thinking of these for my wife's Honda.

Hi Graham
I have sensors fitted, but one has packed up, just looking for a replacement for that, seems I can get them for about £12 -£13 on flea bay, Just wondering if anyone had tried the cheaper ones, I have just ordered one and will update post as soon as tried and tested.
