Default Part-load breather Q/Crankcase vent '01

I had a '97 XK8 and used to follow the TSB for cleaning the part-loader breather and throttle body. I just bought an '01 with an A24xxx VIN (meaning that TSB does not apply if I understand it correctly). I am picking the car up Wednesday but am curious as to what has been done that makes it no longer required to clean the part-load breather. I hunted around on the Forum and am trying to understand if there is something equivalent to a PCV valve now that is replaceable? Thanks for any help. Jac

I have a 2000 XKR and read about cleaning the part load breather on this forum. Sure enough it was plugged. I would recomend you go ahead and do the work.
