Default Partial Load Breather Pipe disintegration

Upon inspection of the hoses near the cam covers, I made the mistake of moving the partial load breather pipe, which is made of breakfast cereal. Disintegrated into several pieces, extremely brittle. I have no problem running a new line, but I have no idea where the non-cam cover end is supposed to go. Any pointers? Am I going to have to pull the supercharger to fix a vac line?

Making my own gravy again, think I found the answer. Any real harm in routing this around the outside vs. under the supercharger?

The other end tees off the throttle body under the coolant reservoir, then onward to the purge valve, I believe.

Here's the EPC picture, although it's not much help for location:

Current part # is AJ84879. OEM is quite expensive

You might be able to thread through without removing the supercharger. Take a look at this thread:

It's broken at the junction where it starts to bend as it exits the supercharger area. Plan now is to go into the fab shop and make an "L" insert into the remainer of the tube out of aluminum, which I'll insert into the tube remainder with a generous amount of RTV. this will verticalize the remainder which will allow me to get a larger vac line on the breather nipple and the new "L" insert.

I'll assume Jag isn't comping for repair on this part...

Well, here's a solution. It's my solution, anyway. Aesthetically unpleasing, but works, and more resilient than the children's snorkel serving as the part load breather hose before.
