Default Parts to do Valley Hoses etc.

Hi all,
Getting ready to tackle the valley hose leak that's kept my car off the road for months. I'm assembling the necessary parts and tools and am hoping I can get some guidance on the parts numbers I need. I have found a few threads that listed numbers for the earlier years but not my 2005 XK8. In particular, I am getting confusing info on the small intake manifold gaskets that I need eight of. The various parts websites are vague on which gaskets I need. Any help from the group is much appreciated. Thanks!

I always start my parts search at SNG Barratt https://www.sngbarratt.com/us/#!/English/home

At the top of the page go to their catalogue button and you can download a free parts catalog.

I have yet to do any hoses on my 2004.

If you are going to do all the hoses you should do the water pump, belt and pulleys while you are that deep into things. I did list those parts here.

Please do us all a favor and list the parts if you figure it all out. Thanks!

Rothwell,
Planning on it. Thanks for the list although as usual, I am concered about 2004 vs 2005. You'd think they'd use identical parts, but apparently not so. Seems one valley hose is different on the two MYs, so I worry what else changed..

That is interesting. I had a general assumption that all 4.2 liters had the same engine parts. Guess not.

Who says the valley hoses are different from 2004 to 2005? Very surprising unless the older run of hoses was found to be deficient and wound up being replaced by a better product....

JEPC shows 3 part numbers for the feed hose, dependent on VIN, with most recent being AJ86326 which looks to coincide with the 4.2L intro.
Heritage carries all three, with three different prices, and makes no distinction based on VIN or s/c vs non-s/c. SNG is the same.

Thanks, Michael. I wound up getting the feeder hoses from PartsGeek. Just have to order the little intake manifold gaskets.
