Photoshop look at XKR fog light delete
Has anyone ever deleted their fog lights on a stock XKR? I like having my fog lights to drive with, but wonder if the Jag will look more 'classic' if they were deleted. Below is a photo that I stole off of the internet of an XKR with factory fog lights and the same photo with the lights deleted. Thoughts?

The difference is subtle. It is certainly smooth & clean. However, given the practicality of the fog lights, I think I'd keep them.
Just my opinion and worth what you paid for it. You thinking of doing it?

I've been considering different options for the appearance of my XKR. I plan to go with a fresh paint job or wrap next year. If I do the light delete, I'll probably purchase or make a fiberglass copy of the front nose, then sculpt the delete myself. I have years of composite experience and can do something like that fairly easily. I'm in thinking mode and benefit from others' input. Thanks!

While you are thinking, take a good, long look at the shape of the earlier, more-recessed fog lights on the 2000. Don't ask me why, but they look less "bugged-out" than the newer ones. Also, sounds like you could fabricate the opening to a cool-air duct back to the front brakes, if you needed that functionality.
