Default Question regarding rear speakers on XK8 Conv

I have the Alpine Premium Audio on my 2000 XKR with no sound in the rear apart from the little thud from the subwoofers (LJD4150).

I'm just wondering if it's worth replacing them with the Harmon Kardon (LJA4150) ones which were on the previous models as I know they had subwoofer and rear sound built into their enclosures.

Hi Rocky,
I suspect that the earlier enclosures will fit, but you may need to pick up the wiring for the midrange units as only the subwoofer channels are used on the Alpine system in the convertible. The rear midrange channels are available from the amp:- just I'm not certain whether the wiring is complete.

Hope this makes sense.

Many thanks. That's exactly what I'm going to do.

Regards

Rocky
