Default Quick update and an additional question...

So if some remember I had the dreaded oil cooler line blow out a couple weeks ago. Finally got my new upgraded hoses (only changed 2) this week, finally got them on yesterday, replaced the missing oil and now shes running fine again. But........... and here is my question.

Drivers side rear 1/4 window is not working, well kinda did but is now stuck halfway up or down depending on how you see it. Motor works but it makes a grinding sound. I did a quick search and didnt find what I was looking for but being hurried I might have missed it. Thoughts gentlemen ?

I know its an issue that happens and just want to know if its an easy repair (2-3 hours in the garage) or something I need to get the mechanic to do.

Thanks in advance. Thankfully she was broke when it was over 100 here but next week its supposed to be in the 90's which in AZ is perfect convertible weather.

KNock on wood, I haven't had to address this little difficulty. But there have been a number of threads on the failure of the quarter window mechanism. Here's a link from a thread noted in the DIY FAQ sticky https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ed-help-56100/

Have a read through, and you can make your decision on whether or not to tackle it.
