Default R & R E-Brake leather Gaiter?

Would someone detail how to remove the old leather (cover, boot, gaiter) on the 2003 XK8 please. I can see the snap at the front plus pics of the replacement unit. I am unable to remove the old one. Look like it is a slip fit over the handle. I do not want to remove seat. Would someone please detail the procedure to do this operation?

Come On! Surely someone has removed the leather cover from the E-Brake. I hesitate to destroy the existing one just to learn.

As you've already found the press stud at the front, I presume you haven't spotted the colour coded trim clip at the other end of the cover trim?

JTIS - XK8 Parking Brake Control Shroud.pdf

I haven't got my XK8 now and can't find a photo that would help but the JTIS diagram in the PDF should be clear enough.

Thanks for your link, read it ans was able to remove the gaiter w/o any problem. Will replace due to non repairable tear. Have a great day!
